Newspaper Prints Letter Advocating Killing Hunters at The National Shooting Sports Foundation  I wish they would have linked to the actual newspaper online so there is proof.  Not sure if this one is true or not, but it is worth looking into and maybe sending a letter to the editor anyway.

Retreat Security: I Am Your Worst Nightmare, by Jeff T. at Survival Blog dot com.  Interesting article written from the perspective of a post-crash mutant zombie biker.  I actually know guys who have said that they plan to do this if the SHTF.  Keep your shit wired tight and look out.  This is what you might be dealing with.

Whisky on (Antarctic) Ice By Emily Stone at Global Post dot com  I consider myself a whisky connoisseur.  I would love to see what this tastes like!

The Monetary Economics of Halloween Candy by Jeffrey Tucker at C4L  A great read.  I did a post similar to this at the beginning of the year, but Tucker's article goes more in depth.

Here's the text of my letter to the Burlington Free Press:

I am sick and tired of people who equate animal life with human life. The person who suggested killing hunters is of that very ilk. I hunt, and I strive to do so humanely and ethically. The anti-hunting crowd, if granted their wish to completely eradicate the sport, would congratulate themselves for their political victory even as deer, elk, and moose herds starved due to overpopulation. But at least they would hold the “moral high ground” in their own eyes!

Your publication executives should be ashamed of themselves for giving voices to these extremists.
