This would be an awesome addition to any Bug Out Bag that carries electronic equipment. A large stash of batteries is always a good thing to keep around, but when worse comes to worst and you have to shit and get, those batteries can be bulky and heavy. A device like the Solio can replace all of that bulk and weight and allow you to recharge damn near anything while you are on the move. Just spread out the three fan-like solar panels (classic and magnesium models), strap it to the top of your ruck and charge your electronics while you get out of dodge.
Solio has four different models, the Rocsta H100, the Mono, the Classic, and the Magnesium Edition. (Shown below in the order listed)
The price is pretty high when ordering direct from Solio store, and prices vary from from other suppliers, so shop around, or click the images above to order from Amazon.
See you at Galt's Gulch!

I picked up a folding Bruton solar charger today. Got it mainly for batteries but the reviews said it works for radios and such also.
I might have to look into one of those too. Still havent made my mind up on what I want to buy, but any kind of portable solar charger seems like a good idea.
