I read Root's book, and I have quoted him on this blog before; but Root represents the Glenn Beck style 'libertarian light' that I have come to despise in the Tea Party movement. Two years ago I put out a call to action for libertarian candidates to make a Ron Paul shift and infiltrate the Republican Party. It seems that this call fell on deaf ears with libertarians, but was eagerly picked up in reverse among the neo-cons. Is there any hope for us left in this world?
