Quote of the Week

There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't stay still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and they rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don't know how to rest.

Free Yourself from Legal Tyranny by Howard Freeman at Supreme Law Library I really want to get everyone's take on this article. I ran across it online after a conversation with a good friend about what the Signature Line on a check says. Look at it with a magnifying glass people, it is not a line. Anyway, are there any legal minds out there who want to take a crack at this and let me know if its legit or just tin foil hat crap? In addition to the link above, check the next one as well for further reading.

COMMERCIAL LAW AND THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE (UCC)

Bluff City, TN Speed Camera Information This interesting little site used to be owned by the Bluff City, TN Police Dept. An angry citizen who had received a ticket from a traffic camera ended up buying the domain name when he noticed that the police department had let it lapse. From there it blossomed into a general info site about traffic cameras. Way to stick it to the man!

In Its Heterodox Media Star, an Identity Crisis for Libertarian Party Colleagues Charge Root Is 'Still a Republican' by ALEXANDER ZAITCHIK at The Washington Independent Dot Com  I have been saying this for a while. I read Root's book, and I have quoted him on this blog before; but Root represents the Glenn Beck style 'libertarian light' that I have come to despise in the Tea Party movement. Two years ago I put out a call to action for libertarian candidates to make a Ron Paul shift and infiltrate the Republican Party. It seems that this call fell on deaf ears with libertarians, but was eagerly picked up in reverse among the neo-cons. Is there any hope for us left in this world?
